Become An Involvement Partner!

Involvement Partners are Christian Culture Center Advisory Board Members who take their commitment to the next level.  They can be found behind the scenes doing jobs like working on this web site, sending letters, answering emails and doing research.  They can also be found in the front lines as they meet with key people to arrange activities and events for the Christian Culture Center and those we help.  Some of them cannot be found at all because they are home praying intensely for our mission to succeed.

There are many opportunities to become involved with establishing more of a Christian culture. First, you must register as an Advisory Board Member.  Then review the current list of involvement opportunities to find the areas you want to get involved in.  Then complete the short form on this page to make yourself available!

The following involvement opportunities are currently available:

• Journalism, writing, research — articles related to culture and the arts
• Editing, interviewing, photography to cover live events, interview people
• Graphic services, computer skills (MSOffice, Ventura Publisher, Macromedia Flash, Director, Fireworks, many others)
• Circulation related —helping announce the CCC web site to the Christian community in every area.
• Public relations work —contact with the media, writers, authors, and the general public
• Coordination of all activities, budgeting, finances and accounting
• Other (suggest your ideas)
• Marketing, publicity and advertising
• Book marketing from our on-line bookstore
  We need people who want to help announce our Christian book, CD, video and on-line gift store. This is a major fund raising method. Most Christians already buy these products. They will occasionally buy them from us if they know proceeds support our grant programs.
• Special events
  There are literally dozens of special events we can host that help expand the influence of Christianity on our culture. All we need is people with the ideas and the commitment to put them to work.
• Other publicity
  We will rely heavily on a stream of news and press releases, interviews on local and national talk shows (radio and television), grant award announcements distributed to the media, and other publicity. We need help to put all this together.
• We want Christian writers to write features and fillers that we can help place in local and national magazines and newspapers, as friends of the Christian Culture Center. This will help make our purpose and our name known.
• We need people to interface with the educational community to see how we can best serve them with our grants, programs and services.
• Advertising
  To support our special events and projects, we will utilize advertising where appropriate. We need people with creative advertising ideas and expertise to present and illustrate our concepts and programs to the public.
• Fellowship of Christian Artists
  We plan to assemble a Fellowship of Christian Artists that will focus on needs related to the fine arts and those that produce them.
• General office work
  Our small, hands-on business staff needs help with general office work; perhaps you can do it from your own home via the internet. We also need people to affix labels, stuff envelopes, file papers, do data entry and help in a multitude of other office-related functions. We also need people to answer the daily e-mail we receive.
• Outgoing and incoming telephone projects
  We are looking for people experienced in telephone marketing and reception. Most of this work enables you to work from your own home once training is complete. Some of it is commissionable (you can earn commissions from the sale of products in our catalog, for example).
• Internet-related work
  The primary need we have at this time is for people to link our site with related sites. We need to make a presence in the online community. We also need people willing to monitor our discussion group on Christianity in culture. If you are experienced in web-related work, and want to volunteer to help keep our site up-to-date, please let us know! We are open to your ideas and suggestions about the Christian Culture Center and our web site.
• Grant availability research and writing
  We want a small team to research corporate and foundation grant availability in conjunction with Christian Culture Center grant programs and services. Grant writing will also be necessary for gift-in-kind items, including computer hardware and software, facility usage, etc. If you have experience in this area and want to get involved, please contact us.
• Coordination of Involvement Opportunities
  Most of our work is going to be accomplished with “Involvement Teams.” These are small groups of people gathering in a related service area, such as those listed above. We need people to coordinate and integrate these teams.

The body of Christ already has the necessary resources. Being united in common purpose with a common mission, Christians can make a tremendous impact on society and culture. All we have to do is get involved!
